Research Experience

Bio

Hey, this is Shinjini Mandal. I am currently a UG student and a member of the BEE Lab. I am completing my BS-MS degree in IISc in Biology.

A brief overview about me is that I have always been interested in biology since I was a kid and wanted to do something different from the traditional MBBS and B. Tech route, so here I am following my passion in research. I am currently still learning and finding new niches. Till now, ecology and evolution aspect of biology speaks to me the most along with microbiology. Thus, making this lab the perfect place to explore these areas.

I am not just curious about research. I do all sorts of extracurricular activities, from working out to drawing and chess. You can say that I am a Jack of all trades and master of none. I love to learn new things, but one must be patient with me. After all, we are all human.
